Attend upcoming forums to discuss future of library services in SD
School administrators, teachers, city leaders, librarians and library trustees are invited to open forums scheduled statewide this month to discuss the future of library services in South Dakota. This summer, the State Library will be writing its next five-year strategic plan which will extend through 2023.
The State Library’s current strategic plan and the current federal LSTA (Library Services and Technology Act) five-year plan are available on the State Library’s Publications webpage, under the Plans heading.
Pat Wagner, with Research Patterns, Colorado, will facilitate the open forums. The results of a statewide survey will be discussed.
